“Now I am in Year 13, hoping to embark on a university course for Fashion Journalism, I can see how much Highsted has helped me to develop my talents”.
Claudia, Year 13
Highsted Grammar School, a school considered ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, has always strived for excellence. Whether this is through academic, sporting or artistic achievement, we encourage and nurture our students throughout their transition from young girls, to mature and strong young women.
Through the use of our prospectus and this website, it is hoped that you will gain a little perspective of what life at Highsted is all about, but in truth no words could ever relay to you the reality of the Highsted community.
Whether your interest in our school is as a parent, a prospective student, a business partner or you are thinking of applying for a job here, we warmly welcome you to contact us and visit our school.
We hope that in Highsted you will find not just a place of schooling, but a society, a family – a place of life-long learning that will support, encourage and promote all of the opportunities we strive to give to every single member of our community.
To seek, to learn, today…
Our school will provide a safe environment where every young learner enjoys the challenge of becoming a creative high achiever, prepared for leadership and accountability in a world that is just and sustainable.
To support these aims, the school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times. Likewise, for all children to achieve, we believe it is necessary to maintain excellent behaviour and a commitment to consistently high levels of attendance and puctuality.
